I. Core Processes of Our LED Light Source Modules
Ceiling light panel modules are based on FR-4 or AL substrates. The mainstream processes are side-emitting and direct-emitting, as detailed below:
Substrate Selection and Fabrication
Side-emitting modules: FR-4 fiberglass board (0.8-1.2mm thickness) is preferred due to its low cost and ease of processing into slim strips, suitable for side mounting. Low-power side-emitting modules do not require strong heat dissipation, and the insulation and flatness of FR-4 meet the requirements.
Direct-lit modules: Utilize ultra-thin aluminum substrates (0.5-0.8mm thick, thermal conductivity ≥1.0W/(m・K)), resulting in higher LED density. The aluminum substrate allows for rapid heat dissipation, preventing heat buildup in the central area. High-end products may use copper-based copper-clad laminates to improve heat dissipation efficiency for high-power panel lights (>40W).
