We Guoli can design and manufacture light source modules, assemble lenses, cables and heat dissipation structures for our clients and professional lab for products testing. Furthermore, in the overall design of the module and structural components, we prioritize the client's needs for overall light efficiency, heat dissipation, and lifespan:
Aluminum Profile Selection and Structural Design
Material: 6063-T5 aluminum alloy (customizable), thermal conductivity ≥180W/(m・K), balancing thermal conductivity and structural strength;
Structure: Utilizing a finned heat dissipation structure to increase the heat dissipation area (heat dissipation area must be ≥0.01m²/W, i.e., 100W). Module heat dissipation area ≥ 1m²; fin spacing ≥ 8mm to avoid hot air stagnation;
Module bonding with aluminum structural components: Thermally conductive silicone pads (thermal conductivity ≥ 2.0W/(m・K)) or thermal grease must be used to fill the gaps at the contact surface and eliminate the air insulation layer; high-power modules can be bolted to ensure uniform bonding pressure.
Optimized heat conduction path: Ensure an unobstructed heat conduction path of "LED → PCB substrate → heat-conducting medium → aluminum structural components → air";
Avoid interference from wires, screws, and other foreign objects between the PCB substrate and aluminum structural components; if necessary, design positioning posts for precise module fixation.
Outdoor weather resistance treatment: The surface of the aluminum structural components must be anodized (thickness ≥ 15μm) or powder coated to improve corrosion resistance and UV resistance, preventing outdoor oxidation and rust; In coastal high-salt-spray areas: Hard anodizing + anti-salt-spray coating is required to meet the requirement of ≥ 1000 hours of salt spray testing without rust.
Lightweight Design and Installation Compatibility
While meeting heat dissipation requirements, the aluminum profile wall thickness is optimized (generally 2-4mm) to reduce overall weight and facilitate streetlight pole installation.
Standardized mounting holes must be pre-drilled in the aluminum structural components to accommodate different streetlight pole sizes (e.g., Φ60, Φ76mm poles).
Module and Driver Power Supply Matching: A constant current driver power supply must be selected with an output current accuracy ≤±3% to avoid accelerated light decay of the LEDs due to current fluctuations.
Surge Protection Design: The module must integrate a surge protector with a protection level ≥10kV to address outdoor lightning strike risks.
