Our professional commercial LED spotlight module solutions are primarily used in commercial settings such as shopping malls, showrooms, specialty stores, and restaurants. The core requirements are highlighting product quality, enhancing the spatial atmosphere, and ensuring comfortable lighting. Our designs, COB light source applications, and LED selection are all tailored to the specific needs of commercial lighting.

I. Core Optical Parameter Requirements

1. Color Rendering Index (CRI, Ra & R9)

CRI is a core indicator of commercial lighting, directly determining the color reproduction of goods. Requirements vary significantly across different commercial scenarios:

* **Basic Commercial Scenarios (Supermarket Shelves, Ordinary Clothing Stores):** Ra ≥ 80, R9 (Red CRI) ≥ 20, meeting the color display needs of most goods.

* **Mid-to-High-End Scenarios (Boutiques, Furniture Showrooms, Jewelry Stores):** Ra ≥ 90, R9 ≥ 50, accurately reproducing warm-toned goods such as red and orange (e.g., clothing, leather goods, food), enhancing the perceived quality of the goods.

* **High-End Scenarios (Luxury Stores, Art Galleries, Beauty Counters):** Ra ≥ 95, full-spectrum design (R1-R15 all ≥ 90), accurately reproducing product details, matching professional color assessment needs.

2. Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) Balancing energy efficiency and illumination brightness, it's necessary to distinguish between chip luminous efficacy and system luminous efficacy (including lens and reflector losses):

COB Light Source Chip Luminous Efficacy: ≥140lm/W (Laboratory Conditions);

Spotlight System Luminous Efficacy: ≥90lm/W (including optical components and drive losses), power range 5W~30W (commonly 10W~20W, adaptable to different illumination areas);

Supplement: Luminous efficacy must be considered in conjunction with beam angle. Narrow beam angles (15°~24°) result in slightly lower luminous efficacy for spotlight systems (80~90lm/W), while wide beam angles (36°~60°) result in higher luminous efficacy (90~100lm/W).

3. Color Temperature (CCT) The color temperature must match the positioning and atmosphere of the commercial space, with specific selection criteria for different scenarios: Warm-toned atmosphere scenarios (restaurants, home textile stores, high-end clubs): 2700K~3000K, soft light, creating a warm and comfortable shopping environment; Neutral-toned general-purpose scenarios (supermarkets, ordinary clothing stores, office showrooms): 3500K~4000K, neutral color reproduction, suitable for displaying most products; Cool-toned high-brightness scenarios (jewelry stores, beauty counters, electronics stores): 5000K~6000K, clear and bright light, highlighting the luster and details of the products; Key requirement: Color temperature consistency of spotlights within the same scene ≤ ±200K to avoid color differences affecting the visual experience.

4. Other Key Parameters

Beam Angle: Selected based on the target area – 15° (focusing on jewelry and handicrafts), 24° (focusing on clothing and shelves), 36° (large area supplemental lighting), 60° (ambient lighting);

Glare Ratio (UGR): ≤19, achieved through anti-glare lens design (e.g., honeycomb mesh cover) to prevent direct glare from affecting the customer experience;

Color Tolerance: ≤3 SDCM, ensuring consistent light color across the same batch of spotlights.


II. Design Considerations for COB Light Sources in Commercial Illumination Lights

COB (Chip on Board) is the mainstream light source for commercial illumination lights. The core design considerations are optical uniformity, heat dissipation stability, and anti-glare performance. Specific key points are as follows:

* Optical Design: Ensure uniform light output without yellow spots or dark areas.

* Light-emitting Surface Matching: The diameter of the COB light-emitting surface must be compatible with the reflector/lens aperture (e.g., a narrow beam angle of 15° requires a small light-emitting surface COB) to avoid the problem of "bright spot in the center and dark area at the edge."

* Phosphor Coating Process: Use uniform coating + atomization treatment to eliminate the chip-like texture of the COB light source, ensuring consistent brightness across the light-emitting surface and enhancing the quality of product illumination.

* Precise Light Distribution: Achieve precise beam angles through reflectors (vacuum-plated aluminum, reflectivity ≥95%) or lenses (PMMA material, transmittance ≥92%) to avoid light scattering and waste.

Heat Dissipation Design: Controlling junction temperature to prevent accelerated light decay.

Substrate Selection: Use a high thermal conductivity aluminum substrate (thermal conductivity ≥ 2.0 W/(m·K)) or a copper substrate (for high-power spotlights above 30W) to ensure rapid heat conduction.

Heat Dissipation Structure Matching: The COB light source must be tightly fitted to the spotlight's heat dissipation fins, with a thermally conductive silicone pad (thermal conductivity ≥ 3.0 W/(m·K)) filling the gap to eliminate air gaps; the fin area must be ≥ 0.015 m²/W (e.g., a 20W spotlight's heat dissipation area ≥ 0.3 m²).

Junction Temperature Control: The COB chip's operating junction temperature must be ≤ 120℃. High temperatures will cause color temperature drift, accelerated light efficiency decay, and shorten the light source's lifespan.

Anti-glare design: Enhancing the comfort of commercial spaces

Optimized shading angle: Designed with a ≥15° shading angle, paired with a honeycomb anti-glare mesh cover, blocking direct light from the light source and reducing glare stimulation to the eyes;

Frosted finish on the light-emitting surface: The COB light-transmitting cover uses a frosted process to soften the light and prevent strong light from directly hitting the surface of goods (such as jewelry and glass products) and causing reflective spots.

Driver matching: Ensuring light source stability

Using a constant current driver power supply with an output current accuracy of ≤±2%, avoiding current fluctuations that cause instability in light efficiency and color temperature;

Supports dimming function (0-10V dimming or DALI dimming) to adapt to the lighting needs of commercial spaces at different times of day (such as dimming during the day and brightening at night);

The driver must have built-in overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit protection to improve the lifespan and safety of the spotlights.

Weather-resistant design: Suitable for commercial environments

The spotlight housing is made of aluminum alloy with an anodized finish, making it corrosion-resistant and oxidation-resistant, suitable for the humid and dusty environments of shopping malls; Protection rating ≥ IP20 (indoor commercial lighting), upgraded to IP44 for catering scenarios to prevent the intrusion of oil fumes and moisture.
