LUMILEDS (Philips) LED chips and our PCB LED modules, relying on advanced chip technology, packaging processes, and integrated design, excel in luminous efficacy, color consistency, and thermal management, making them the preferred solution for high-end lighting and industrial applications. Specific features and advantages of Lumileds are as follows:

I. Features and Advantages of LUMILEDS Philips LED Chips

Leading optical performance and outstanding energy efficiency

High luminous efficacy: Utilizing GaN (Gallium Nitride) or SiC (Silicon Carbide) substrate technology, luminous efficacy can reach over 120-200 lm/W. The LUXEON MZ series even achieves >180 lm/W luminous efficacy at a junction temperature of 85℃. A single 1W 3030 LED chip can achieve a luminous flux of 145 lm at a color temperature of 5700K, far exceeding ordinary products in the industry.

High color rendering index and wide color temperature coverage: Color rendering index is generally ≥80, with high-end models such as the COB packaged series exhibiting Ra≥92, and excellent R9 (red reproduction index); color temperature coverage ranges from 2700K (warm white) to 6500K (cool white), and custom spectra for plant grow lights, automotive headlights, etc., are also available to meet the color requirements of various scenarios such as commercial lighting, medical lighting, and museum lighting.

Excellent color consistency: Strict spectral and color separation standards ensure color tolerance is controlled within ≤3 SDCM, resulting in no significant color difference in batch applications, suitable for achieving a unified visual effect in large-area lighting projects.

Packaging and Structural Design Advantages

Diverse and Durable Packaging Options: Covering mainstream package specifications such as 3030, 5050, and 7070, the 3030 LED uses an EMC bracket (epoxy molding compound), offering superior thermal conductivity and high-temperature resistance compared to ordinary PCB brackets, resulting in faster heat dissipation and lower light decay. The LUXEON MZ series features a dome-less design for more precise beam control, and its pad size is compatible with LUXEON M, facilitating luminaire upgrades.

High Power and Stability Balanced: Single LED power ranges from 1W to 30W. The LUXEON MZ series operates stably at 700mA and 1400mA currents, and its luminous flux still exceeds 1400lm at a junction temperature of 85℃, making it suitable for long-term operation in high-power lighting scenarios.

Long Lifespan and Environmental Adaptability

Lifespan can reach over 50,000 hours, with a light decay rate far below the industry average. The 3030 LED chip exhibits less than 5% light decay after 50,000 hours. The packaging process provides excellent moisture resistance and high-temperature resistance, maintaining stability even in harsh environments such as outdoor streetlights and industrial/mining lamps.

Integrated Design, Unified Performance, and Convenient Development

Original Manufacturer Matching of Core Light Source: The module uses factory-selected LUXEON series LED chips, ensuring high consistency in luminous efficacy, color temperature, and color rendering between boards and lamps. Engineers do not need to separately calculate LED chip grading, voltage deviation, etc., directly simplifying the lamp design process.

Standardized Compatible Design: The LUXEON XR-5050 HE series is compatible with commercially available drivers, optical lenses, and heat sinks. Using an MCPCB (Metal Core Printed Circuit Board) substrate, it combines thermal efficiency and mechanical strength, allowing direct integration into various lamps as a universal building block, shortening time-to-market.

Thermal Management and Heat Dissipation Optimization

High-Efficiency Heat Dissipation Board: All models utilize MCPCB boards with excellent thermal conductivity. The thermal resistance from the housing to the heatsink in the LUXEON XR-5050 SQR series is only 3.5K/W, enabling rapid heat dissipation from the LEDs, preventing module thermal decay, and ensuring stable operation at high power.

Fanless Passive Cooling: Some modules achieve natural heat dissipation through optimized boards and structure, eliminating the need for additional heat dissipation components, reducing the overall size and cost of the luminaire, and minimizing noise.

High Power Output and Scene Adaptability

High Power and High Lumens: The LUXEON XR-5050 HE series achieves a luminous efficacy of up to 184lm/W, with a maximum luminous flux of 8600lm per module; the XR-5050 Round series, equipped with 8/12/16 5050 LEDs, achieves a luminous flux of up to 5700lm, suitable for large-area lighting needs such as outdoor streetlights and industrial floodlights.

Fully certified and reliable warranty: Certified by UL 8750, ENEC, CE, UKCA and other international standards, and offers a 5-year limited warranty, making it more competitive in demanding scenarios such as commercial lighting and municipal engineering.
